Snow on the 4th of July!

We spent the 4th of July going to Snow Basin Ski Resort (northern Utah) for a Sunday Brunch.  Oh me, oh my..... all future brunches will be judged against this one, and they will probably come up lacking!  And the decor?...let's just say the chandeliers (there are many) probably each weigh more than my car!  And the diameter of the log pillars (there are many) are probably larger than my car's wheels!

This is the view we had once we stepped off the gondola that took us up.
We had seven in our group (including 2 skinny little boys we refer to as "Rough" and "Tumble"), all riding together in the relatively massive capsule.

Not sure you can see it here, as I just took this photo with my phone....
we saw a guy ahead of us taking up his snow skis.
Ok, it is a ski resort, afterall....
Evidently he did indeed find some snow,
as seen by the zig-zag pattern he left on this little patch of snowy mountainside!
